建築家・前川國男の自邸の室内風景を、銅板に映し撮影した4点組の写真作品。銅板につけ睫毛を付着させたものと、写真につけ睫毛を付着させたもの2枚を含み、イメージと物質を行き来する閉じた目蓋によって、眠りと覚醒を振幅するまどろみの感覚をもたらす。前川國男設計の東京都美術館で展示。
This is a set of four photographs of the interior landscape of architect Kunio Maekawa’s own house, projected onto copper plates. The closed eyelids, which move back and forth between image and matter, bring about a slumbering sensation that fluctuates between sleep and wakefulness. Exhibited at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum designed by Kunio Maekawa.
